Gold hen shrimp cocktail
Gold Hen Bloody Mary Mix is not only “Sweet with a Little Heat” but it’s also loaded up with horseradish which makes it pair tremendously with shrimp! It really doesn’t get any easier than this one folks. Simply cook up some shrimp any way you prefer and then give them a bath in Gold Hen! Here’s a couple tips for different cooking methods:
Grilled - Before skewering for the grill, hit the shrimp with a nice blackened seasoning. Flavor explosion!
Oven (frozen shrimp) - Simply add the frozen shrimp to an oven pan, drizzle with lemon juice and Old Bay, and bake until cooked through. No need to add water as you’ll get a natural steaming effect as the shrimp cook.
Boil - We love this method for fresh jumbos. Bring a pot of water to rapid boil. Cut the heat and immediately drop in the shrimp. Within about 2 minutes, your shrimp will be done and pink throughout. Drop them in an ice bath to cool.
