Crossfire bbq shredded chicken

Football season will soon be upon us, so here’s a crockpot gameday recipe, which is perfect for both home and stadium tailgates! To clarify, we highly recommend you use Gold Hen Bloody Mary Mix and Happy Hog Sauce Co. Crossfire Hot for the ultimate flavor bomb! If you elect to go with Mrs. T and Heinz, that one is on you :)

Gold Hen’s Crossfire BBQ Shredded Chicken

Here’s the move, and it’s super simple. First, grab yourself a couple pounds of chicken breast. In a saucepan, mix your Gold Hen, Crossfire Hot, butter, and cider vinegar and heat till the butter is melted. Throw the chicken in the crockpot, pour over the sauce, and cook on low. Easy as hell and only takes a few hours. This will be added to our tailgate menu and served as sliders! If you give it a try on your end, we’d love to hear what you think!

Ingredients

2 lbs chicken breast

1/2 cup Gold Hen

1/2 cup Crossfire Hot

1/4 cup butter

1 tbsp cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Go to the market and grab yourself 2 lbs of chicken breast. If you want to butcher a chicken yourself, way cooler!

  2. Add your Gold Hen, Crossfire Hot, butter, and cider vinegar to a saucepan and heat until butter is melted. Simmer for 15 minutes.

  3. Add chicken to the crockpot and pour over the sauce.

  4. Cook on low for about two hours, or until chicken can be shredded with a fork.
